I've been to Tokyo Tower several times, but I never going inside before. That's why I went when Dito said that she wanted to go. The view was cool (specially at night), and there was a live show on the tower (never heard about it before). There's a glass windows on the floor of the main observatory where you can peek what's below...
Actually I'm a little bit acrophobic, but my curiosity beat my fear :-), so I tried to look down while standing on the glass... well, it's not as scary as I thought before... :-)
